DAMOS descriptor files allow a map to be transcribed to find the different MAPS it contains.
Car manufacturers use computer language maps to match ECUs to their engines.
These maps display the "MAPS" maps that only the ECU or the manufacturers are able to interpret.
DAMOS, OLS, ASAP2, A2L, KP files can be used to transcribe a map to find the different MAPS it contains with the corresponding scales and names.
Few preparers have the right connections with manufacturers or development departments and can get their hands on a Damos file.
