How to Install DIALOGYS 4.90 on Windows
This guide walks step by step through installing DIALOGYS 4.90 (Renault / Dacia parts catalog) from the provided ISO files.
1. System requirements
Operating system
- Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 (32/64-bit)
- User account with administrator rights
Required software (install BEFORE Dialogys)
- A compatible Java Runtime Environment (JRE) — recommended: Java 8 (32 or 64-bit depending on your system)
- Adobe Reader (to open the PDF documents)

Temporarily disable your antivirus during installation, and avoid file paths with special characters or accents.
2. Required files
You'll need the complete set of ISO files, fully downloaded and in this order:

dvd1.iso
dvd2.iso
dvd3.iso
dvd4.iso
dvd5.iso
dvd6.iso
dvd7.iso

All DVDs are required to get a complete database.
3. Preparation before installation
- Create a dedicated folder (e.g.
C:\Dialogys_ISO) - Place all the ISO files in this folder
- Make sure each ISO file can be mounted without errors
To mount an ISO:
- Right-click → Mount (Windows 8+)
- Or use a virtual drive tool on Windows 7 (Daemon Tools, WinCDEmu...)
4. Step-by-step installation

Installing CD0 (required)
- Mount the file:
CD0-Dialogys_1.6_v7.6.5_Without_Alpine_23_03_2018.iso - Open the newly created virtual CD drive
- Locate the file:
InstallLauncher.bat - Right-click → Run as administrator
- Follow the on-screen instructions — don't change the default paths unless necessary
- Wait for the installation to fully complete
- Close all windows
- Eject CD0 (right-click the drive → Eject)

Installing the data DVDs (DVD1 to DVD7)
The procedure is exactly the same for every DVD. Example with DVD1:
- Mount the file
dvd1.iso - Open the virtual CD drive
- Launch
InstallLauncher.bat(always as administrator) - Let the installation run through to completion
- Close the program
- Eject the virtual DVD
Repeat the exact same procedure for dvd2.iso, dvd3.iso, dvd4.iso, dvd5.iso, dvd6.iso, and dvd7.iso.
⚠️
Important: install only one DVD at a time. Never mount two ISOs simultaneously, and always wait for full completion before moving to the next one.
5. First launch of DIALOGYS
- Once all DVDs are installed, open the Start menu and search for Dialogys
- Launch the program — the first startup may take longer than subsequent ones
- Check that the catalogs open correctly and PDFs display properly (Adobe Reader)
6. Common troubleshooting
Dialogys won't start
- Check that Java is properly installed
- Try a different Java 8 build
- Run Dialogys as administrator
PDFs won't open
- Check Adobe Reader is installed
- Reset the PDF file association
Installation stuck on a DVD
- Corrupted ISO → re-download the affected file
- Active antivirus → temporarily disable it
7. Practical tips
✔️ Avoid external drives or USB sticks during installation
✔️ Install on a drive with at least 20 GB free
✔️ Keep the ISO files after installation, as a backup
