📋 Installation Steps
Download and extract the archive
Download the KSUITE 2.80.rar archive from your customer account or the related product page.
- Right-click the archive → Extract Here (WinRAR or 7-Zip)
- Place the extracted folder directly at the root of drive C: →
C:\KSUITE 2.80\
Install the USB drivers
Open the folder C:\KSUITE 2.80\DRIVER\ and install the components in this order:
- 1️⃣ Install
vcredist_x86.exefirst (Visual C++ Redistributable) - 2️⃣ Then install
Driver_USBDEVICEDRV.EXE(KESS V2 interface driver)
Connect the KESS V2 interface
- After restarting, plug in your KESS V2 interface using the supplied USB cable
- Wait a few seconds while Windows finishes installing the device
- No error message should appear — if one does, check that the drivers were correctly installed in step 2
Launch KSuite
Open the folder C:\KSUITE 2.80\ and run ksuite.exe as administrator (right-click → Run as administrator).
The software should automatically detect the connected KESS V2 interface. You can now:
- Read ECU maps and save the original files
- Write modified maps
- Work via OBD or on bench, depending on the supported protocol
⚠️ Important Notes
Temporarily disable it (or add an exception for the KSUITE folder) if the software or drivers are blocked during installation or launch.
Never start a write operation without a stable battery voltage above 13V. Use a battery maintainer if needed.
Always perform a read and save the original file before any write. If something goes wrong, you'll have a base to restore the ECU.
If the interface isn't detected, try a USB 2.0 port directly on the motherboard. Some USB 3.0 hubs can cause communication issues.
Don't install several versions of KSuite on the same PC without first uninstalling and cleaning up the previous installation.
